It seems in my area of Ontario, there are considerable auto worker layoffs of Ford and Chrysler while there has been positive news for the Toyota work force. I wonder if this is this a trend all over North America?
Where I live here in Atlanta, they had a very big Ford plant close down recently. I don't know what is going on there.
Since this thread started, I've heard of more Dahmer Chrysler layoffs. There is some positive news in the Brampton, Ontario area with the announcement that the Dodge Challengers will be assembled there. Also I believe there's a new Toyota plant in Woodstock, Ontario.
