Audacity Help

I wanna be able to mute or remove the drums from a song so i can put my own version in with the guitar and everything. I cant find anything in the tutorials so i need help. Im using audacity (obviously) and im not even sure you can do that. Is there another sound editor software that i could do this with? Thanks for a reply.

Usually there is no way to get this. The individual artists tend to keep their raw recordings to themselves and usually NEVER release them. They don't want people playing right over their actual music and making perfect covers.

audacity wont let you do that ..... there is a better program for that but i forgot what its called
