Apple/Mac Monitor on a PC?

Does anybody have any experiene using an Apple monitor on a PC?

My current monitor may be going bad, and if it does I will get credit towards a new one since it is still under warranty. I'm looking at one of these:

I'd be using it on a PC and haven't really heard much on whether or not this is a good idea.

Awesome monitor. I think you should definitely get it, or something like it, as soon as you can. Wish I could, but can't justify the expense right now :( The specs say the platform is Mac, but a comment/review by someone does say he hooked it up to a PC, so I guess it can be done. Here's what his experience was:

"This thing is huge. What more can I say? It is very bright too, dwarfing even the Samsung 213T (21 inches) by far. Connecting it to a PC gave me a small taste of difficulty trying to get it to run at the native resolution of 2560x1600, but once figured out, with two GeForce 7800 GT's SLI'd together, this thing totally rips."

Go for it, Andrew!
