Do you listen more to American rock bands or to British rock bands?

In general, which one would you say is better: American Rock or British Rock?

I'll give the nod to the Brits. All other things being equal, they inject a little more wit and humor into their pudding. Where are your American Macc Lads, for example? With songs like "Now He's a Poof," "No Sheep 'til Buxton" and "Turtles Heads" they raise the gutter to the sky.

........the Brits are going to win it on this occasion.

Most of my favorites are American, though I do enjoy rock from the Brits. This time, however, I'll be going for American.

She has all Queen's LPs. I honestly couldn't pick between the two. I love British indie rock but the American style/accent for the heavier stuff. Cannot find anything strong enough to split 'em in my head and my collection is pretty 50/50. The immovable British meets the unstoppable American.

In the 80's no one even competed with the Brits:

REO Speedwagon
Def Leppard
Tears For Fears

So many more, even though the bands that Bananas mentioned are amazing as well, no one beats the brits in my opinion, when it comes to bands.
