A read for the road? Or sky rather...

Here's the thing, I'm going to Spain on the 17th, it's around 2 hours for the plane to fly from England to Spain.

Now, what I'm looking for is a nice short read for the flight there, I'm a pretty quick reader, so something around 200-250 pages?

The type of books I like are Sci-Fi, but none of that "evil aliens trying to destroy the earth" kind of things. I like things by Neal Asher and Peter Hamilton if that helps in any way.

Trust me, I'm The Doctor.

Pick up "Down and out in Paris and London" for a change or "Animal Farm" for a more fantasy-surreal type.

If you haven't read Stranger in a Strange Land yet, it's tremendous. A little longer, but worth it I promise. A must for sci-fi lovers.
