Shapiro and company clearly do not want to spend money next season, hence why they traded JD. They didn’t want him to accept that $18M QO. I’m pretty sad he’s gone. He won a MVP here and had some many great moments as a Blue Jay. He will be missed. He was a fan favourite in Toronto and all of Canada.

Yesterday, the Angels said Othani will need Tommy John Surgery - last night, as a hitter, he goes 4-4 with two home runs. Unbelievable.

He is. I saw him pitch live on Sunday. I figured he wouldn’t go past 50 pitches. The guy is a phenomenal talent.

Why is Jose Ramirez like the most underrated player in sports? Dude's just joined the 30-30 club while hitting close to .300 yet there's like zero talk on him nationally. For the amount of coverage guys like Mike Trout, Jose Altuve, Mookie Betts gets, Jose Ramirez is non-existent
