Movies 2015 - Then and Now (Back to the Future Part II)

Way back in 1989 Back to the Future Part II came out. This is a well known film in one of the most popular trilogies of all time. They travel to October 21st 2015 in the film and their vision for the future was born.

Here are some of the things they got right and wrong.

In 1989,

I think the fixation on fax machines is kind of funny. There was enough technology back then to pretty easily see that electronic mail (email) would one day take down fax.

It's strange how some of the technology is very obsolete in the real 2015 but other technology (such as flying cars) is still very much a futuristic idea that hasn't yet happened.

What stands out to you?


The part where you need to borrow dad's credit card to buy a couple milkshakes.
How long before we get to the point where you practically have to put a second mortgage on your house in order to buy groceries?
