Alright, let's move onto some tag team wrasslin. Obviously the tag team division in the WWE isn't the best right now. Its had its better days with Demolition, Legion of Doom, Bulldogs, E & C, Dudleys, Hardys, etc etc. Right now we've only really got a hand full of teams in general. Watch out for Caylon Croft and Trent Barreta on ECW. Here are your choices for 2009 Tag Team of the Year...

JeriShow, Degeneration X, Legacy.

I have excluded the Colons, Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty because I don't want people voting for teams that don't really deservce to win. There's no reason to put all the teams for the sake of having everyone in the list. I am not going to use records in this discussions since they are two separate wrestlers and I didnt keep track of their TEAM record.

Anyways...

#1: JeriShow, (Chris Jericho & Big Show): They were the Unified Tag Team Champions for a total of 5 months after Edge got hurt. Jericho was actually a champion for longer then that. They successfully defended those titles an unofficial 5 times.

#2: Degeneration X, (Shawn Michaels & Triple H): D-X won the unified tag titles at the December TLC PPV. They had a nice feud with Legacy for a couple of months.

#3: Legacy, (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase): The only team that was together for the entire year. They had some success beating DX at one PPV and were a focal point most of the year.

I'm going with Legacy here. While JeriShow did more shows and whatnot that was their downfall to me. I saw too much of them and thus I lost some likeness for them. Legacy had a good amount of air time, drama and matches.

I went with JeriShow. DX didnt have the same impact as JeriShow did and for the most part Legacy were just lackies for Orton and didnt really do much. Legacy got a nice win over DX and haven't done jackshit since.

And besides, Legacy never won the tag titles this year. THat automatically DQ's them for me.

Jerishow for me. They had it all, two mega stars who people would never have thought to ever team up.

You got the big show on one side, and jericho on the other.

They played their role as heels perfectly, so it was no surprise that the two got a lot of air time as opposed to DX.

lol @ nobody picking DX. Now, is that because they wern't as good as they used to be (my opinion), or because they were shoved in our faces all this year?

Oh, and I didn't pick Legacy 'cuz of titles, I picked them because JeriShow - to me - didn't connect as well as Legacy does. If it was Jericho and Edge I would have most likely gone with them.

DX were just not good altogether, more or less they were annoying. As singles wrestlers they're awesome, but together they're just not as good as they once were.

There's no flare in their stage presence.

The tag team division was a real joke this year and I really hope that changes in 2010, they really need to push Hart Dynasty.

But my selection is Jerishow, even though they weren't together for a long period of time, they still had great matches. Even though I believe Big Show did a good job, Chris Jericho clearly carried this team.

Damn, my mistake. I thought DX was close to terrible this year. They had great matches, I cannot deny them that, but they were extremely annoying and tried to hard to be funny. Also Shawn Michaels was over the top, which made him unbarrable at times.
