Alright this is the official Stanley Cup Finals playoffs. You can discuss about anything regarding the playoffs in this thread.

Montreal will be facing the Bruins, this is the match up I want. I know Boston have a strong team, and it will be a tough match up. But if Price is Right then we have a big chance to beating them. But we also need the secondary scoring to pick up. Not having Andrei Markov will hurt them a lot though. Also Bob Gainey please put Lararaque on the fourth line.

Go habs Go bay.

My general perception is that the most likely sweep is actually Hawks-Flames, because the Flames are stone cold going into the playoffs, plus injuries to their best vets.

Also, Kipper hasn't had a stunning year by any means.

I chose Chicago for the reasons Kaz already pointed out and also because Chicago is on a roll of late. They finished the season winning 6 out of their last 7 games. Not to mention Chicago is simply a better team imo.

And I chose Montreal because I like to root for the underdog haha. Boston did win the season series going 5-0-1 so I think it’s about time MTL beats them. I think they’ll win all their games and home and steal one on the road.

"Series F" Wings/BJ's

Obviously being biased here I'm going with the Jackets over the Wings out of pure desperation. The Jackets are new to the playoffs, this being their first entry I think alot of people arent giving them credit for what they've achieved during the season. They went 3W/3L vs. the Wings allowing 18 goals against, and 2 shut outs. I know the Blue Jackets are very streaky against the Wings, and during the regular season they had 3 wins in a row followed by a single loss to finish the regular season vs. detroit. Its going to be a very very close race, and I feel the Wings will probably put up a huge fight... but I feel right now being underestimated is going to be the BJ's best friend.
